Day 12 – Overhead Wrist Pull
I used to do the overhead wrist pull all the time when I felt my shoulders get really tight. I always feel good after this stretch. Follow the directions below to try it.
Day 11 – Overhead Tricep Stretch
3 more days left in our challenge. I hope you are feeling better and more open in your shoulders. You may have done this stretch before possibly at the gym, but we are working on the overhead tricep stretch.
Day 10 – Easy pose with arms behind your back
Easy pose is a simple yoga pose you can do while quietly sitting and watching tv. But to open your shoulders, we need to focus on putting your arms behind your back. I love when I can do two things at once.
Day 9 – Cow Face Arms
Feel the stretch with this yoga pose- Cow Face Arms. This particular pose may seem intense and it can be. But you can always loosen your grip to help ease it up a bit.
Day 8 – Easy Pose with hands behind back
If you can sit on the floor watching tv… then we can do this pose together. Day 8 is Easy pose with hands behind your back.
Day 7 – Bridge
We are a little more than halfway done with this challenge, but it’s never too late to start. Today we are looking at bridge pose.
Day 6 – Down Dog
One oldie but goodie is down dog. Anyone who has ever participated in a yoga class has done at least one down dog. And they are so good for you, despite it being uncomfortable for beginners (trust me I hated it too). But its awesome for the shoulders. So let’s give it a go.
Day 5 – Cat/Cow
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a good cat and cow stretch first thing in the morning. Today we are focusing on cat and cow.
