Knee Sequence – Supported Bridge

Another yoga pose that we are going to try is called supported bridge pose. I really enjoy this pose because you can find it in a vinyasa class or a restorative. I hope you like it as much as I do.

  • Lie down on your back on top of your mat with knees bent and bottoms of your feet flat against the mat.
  • Inch your heels as close to your butt as possible
  • When ready press down into your heels and lift your body up through your hips; Knees hip distance apart and keep toes pointed forward
  • Place a block or two between your low back and sacrum
  • Place arms by your sides

Isn’t this pose relaxing? What did you think of it? Comment below I would love to hear from you.
