Day 4 Core Challenge – Side Plank

One of the most dreaded exercises at least for me is the side plank. But the results speak for themselves so I trudge on and do them anyway. Let’s do side plank together and feel our abs work.


  1. Come to your mat and find plank
  2. Keep your right arm planted onto your mat and come onto the side of your feet, stacking them on top of each other or you can stagger them. It’s up to you.
  3. Extend your left arm up and over your body. And gently lift your left hip towards the sky, deep inhale. 
  4. Brace your core. 
  5. When you are ready, repeat on the opposite side.
