If you go to a gym and they have a yoga class that you can attend. 9 times out of 10 if there isn’t a description of the class, its going to be power yoga.
Power yoga is one of my top 3 favorite styles of yoga because it really gets your body moving. This type of yoga is commonly referred to as “gym yoga.” I like this type because it focuses on building strength, but with your own body weight. However, I’m also still getting in some stretching at the same time. And if you know me, you know I don’t really like to stretch. But after so many years of not doing it, my body is now in desperate need of some stretching.
Below I have a video that describes power yoga a little bit more in depth and also explains who might find a benefit from it as well.
